Update: Still have a small clunk on speed bumps. I think about it every time I come across one. It’s annoying. Not annoying enough to take apart at the moment as I only notice it on speed bumps. Going off-road soon. That will either make or break em. I’ve got a feeling I’ll be clunking the whole way.

I'm waiting on my replacement arms now.
    Another thing I've considered is my coilovers;
I've heard that if they're low on nitrogen, a clunk may occur. Most charger kits are $400 plus so I'll just take my truck in and get them checked/refilled by a professional.

    Did this fix your issue?

    Still Clunking?

What About anyone else who put in the replacement arms by SPC. Did it fix your clunking or did it come back at some point? Im debating to sell these things. Thanks in Advance

Mine are riding well up to this point. Unfortunately, it won't be back in the 70's or 80's here until probably June where I live, which is when the clunking was very apparent in my truck.

Replaced my spcs. Still clunking. There was alot of play in the thru bolt after backing off the torque. Probably about 1/16 between. The frame sleeve and the spc bushings. Once it's torqued I guess that slop is supposed to be unnoticed.
I'm going to charge my fox 2.5 with resis to see if that helps.

Let me know your results with the Nitrogen Charging. Id be interested to hear if that fixes your problem. I hate to hear you're have issues man. The reason I think mine is my UCA is because I originally installed my setup with my original coil-overs and the new SPC UCAS and they still made the sound. So I dont think it is the fox Coil-overs on my end.

I’ve had mine on for 2 weeks so far and no clunking.
    5100s w 887s.
Originally had some jbas but went to pick up my rear shocks from toytec and they sounded way more confident working with the spcs over the jbas as well as made it sound slightly easier to install.
I figure if i have any issues both toytec and spc are local to me here and i can swing by and show them the issue if it ever turns up. But so far so good.
I also have icon sway bar relocate, not sure if that’s a factor

I am just starting to hear clunking on my set... Mine sound sorta like a loose bolt but I know for a fact nothing is loose.

Sorry to bring it all back but has anyone with this issue just made the switch to JBA uca’s or anything else besides spc and had no clunk? I have the spc uca clunk as well.

Unfortunately today I found out I am now apart of the group of folks with bad bushings. All the mentions of the "clunk" noises getting worse with heat are definitely true. Today was the hottest day since I installed the UCAs back in October and I spent about an hour re-torquing and re-greasing trying to get rid of the noise. A total bummer. I sent a couple e-mails and messages out since it's the weekend to get the ball rolling, but has anyone recently gotten their arms swapped out from SPC? Are they still doing the $50 core-charge? I don't have stock UCAs to get me by. Really eyeing some JBAs after reading through all these threads.

250$ core charge, i just did it last week. Spc was super helpful. Switched out the new ones and no noise at all. I almost went jba but ended up just having to pay for an alignment. Once u send them the old ones theyll re imburse your 250$ core charge

When they did your warranty did they not include ball joints? The guy I talked to took a $250 core charge and asked me to re-use the ball joints.

Any luck with the nitrogen fill? I have the same clunking noise after i take off from a stop. It only started happening after I got my Regear done. It was on a lift for about five days. Took the truck home and starting hearing the clunk. Ive had my SPCs on for about 9 months and the noise just started.

My Nitro levels were fine. My issue actually ended up being my Fox 2.5 Coilovers. Its was the 2nd set fox sent me (First set they sent with tundra coils :angrygirl:) so they agreed to refund my money. I think it was an issues with the Springs. They were not actually 600lbs or something of the sort. Who know though. I have kings now and zero noise coming from the front of my truck. Rides better than the day I bought it.

I have the same clunking... I'm thinking I'm SOL as I bought them NIB from a member here and am not the original purchaser...

King ext travel front coil overs, SPC upper control arms, BAMF rock sliders, ARB snorkel, c-4 hybrid bumper, & SCS ray 10s. King 2.5 1.5-3.0” Rear shocks, deaver stage II leaf pack.
I bought and installed king ext Tavel 2.5s with SPC UPCs in December of 2019 and I am having a similar issue. Vibration can be felt in floor board at lower speed and a clunk can be heard when I have the steering wheel fully cranked over in a low speed off camber turn (i.e. Driveway with bad approach). I recently rotated my tires and noticed my driver side ball joint making contact with coil at full droop.

I called SPC this morning and said they had no records of having issues with these UPCs and they did not trust the forums. They believe this problem was due to improper installation. The truck is in the shop now and they are trying to find a setting where no contact occurs. Photos of driver side and passenger below..
