I did a bilstein 5100 OME 887 install on my 16 OR dcsb. Now I'm getting the rumble strip vibration. Has anyone installed the ECGS clamshell bushing? Recommend a shop to do it for me?

Haven't had to do that but I hear the ECGS is the right fix. I'm looking for a good shop in the Atlanta area myself. Just ordered a bilstein lift package from Headstrong.

We did a 5100 front/rear and aal install on my 16 OR DCSB and I also have the rumble strip vibration at around 40 mph. Is replacing the ECGS bushing a common fox? I've also read installing a rear diff drop would fix the hum or vibration.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I have personally done the bushing swap from the needle bearing and it is not complex. If you can remove your cv shaft then you can do it. If you don't have the tools for that then any driveline shop won't have an issue. The carrier bearing drops and axle shims are not bad ideas but have nothing to do with the rumble strips by your feet as the driver. The ultimate test is to engage 4 wheel HI at the speed of the vibration and if it is the needle bearing then they will stop immediate and ECGS sells what you need. Chase one vibration at a time.

On my way to Fort benning this summer from Colorado. Nothing against GA but damn I hate to leave CO.

The ecgs bushing fixed my vibes and I tried everything prior to that. If you did your lift kit then you can do the bushing. I've had mine on for a couple months and it's vibe free good luck.

I'll be doing mine sometime in the next few weeks. If it goes well, I'll be glad to help you guys out if you want to drive to Columbus.
