I installed a 3” level kit in the front only. When I finished I drove it and there seems to be a whine in front end now. I have not aligned vehicle yet but plan to tomorrow. Have I left anything out?

3” level?? Your cv angles are mostly likely taking a toll if you went that high without a drop diff kit.

Is it truly a 3"? If so front will be higher than rear.

Well as stated above you may run into issues with full 3". Cv boots may rub each other and wear out quickly. Plus anything above 2.5" you may not get good alignment without new UCA'S.

To each his own on the front being higher but having a spacer lift and being that high, your asking for more headaches down the road with issues like CVs wearing out and shocks potentially getting destroyed like the pic below (not mine). Good luck OP

So should I raise the back as well? Will that solve some of the problems?

Raising the back will not solve any problems with the front. Small spacers are ok for awhile but 3" can cause problems. Need to measure center of wheel hub to bottom of fender to see what you ended up with.

You should raise the back so your truck doesn't look like a childs toy.

Get some 5100's from the front and set them for 2 1/2 inches. The spaces are unfortunately terrible for the truck and will cause problems for you.

Can you measure lift and get pic of cv boots? You should be able to make your truck however you like it. Just trying to help avoid problems. Do you off road?

How many different people has this happen to? I see this pic posted all over this forum. I feel like there is more to this story than just caused by the shock spacer. Just my opinion lol
