So I want to install a light bar on my front grill in between the bumper & the grill just like most 3rd gen tacos have them but I am trying to see if is there any set up or kit that does not require any cutting. I just purchased this 2018 Taco 4x4 OR and I feel bad doing anything that requires cutting. TIA

do you still offer the brackets where you have to cut the bottom piece of the plastic air dam protectors? or can that still be done with these brackets rather than completely removing them? have you heard any of any feedback from customers who removed it all together? i guess i am just trying to see if would be any unforeseen problems down the road.

We do not. We just do these. No issues at all. People are loving the new brackets. Way easier to install. We have many dealerships who purchase these from us and install them on the new trucks and have no issues with removing the deflectors.

Awesome, eliminating having to do any cutting is a huge plus.

I have seen many other bars installed on our mounts. As long as its 32" End to end you are fine.

The bar I'm interested in is 30", so I'm guessing that is too short. I only asked because some brackets from your competitors list it'll fit most 30-32" bars. No worries.

Most 30" Bars are actually 32" End to end. Its a bit confusing how some companies advertise the size of lights. They say its a 30" Bar but the lens is 30" With an overall measurement of 32" I would ask for the bolt hole to bolt hole dimensions or to see if they have a photo like this 30_inch_Dual_Row_Retouched_Front_1024x1024.jpg

The 30" bar may fit depending on where they are measuring from. Ie, is 30" from the ends where the connectors are, or is just that the lights across measure 30"?

I would just reach out to @Baja Designs and ask them

Thanks for your interest in our products. The S8 30" LED Light Bar measures 31.626" from end cap to end cap. I've attached a PDF
for you to see the dimensional drawings with other measurements.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I just installed the light bar and the CaliRaisedLED brackets were awesome. Only issue I had was getting the bolts in the sides of the light bars. But I got it all done in about 30 minutes, probably 45 minutes with the switch wiring.

Will get some when I get off work. The brackets I think really made the install very easy.

Used a pair of the Caliraised brackets and just ended up taking out the plastic air dams. I was too lazy to try and get them back in, plus I did the install in the dark. Really solid brackets though!!
