ok update, So I talked to ECGS I got a green flag from them they are willing to assemble the IFS clamshell with the front locker from harrop. I talked to mark from harrop and they are willing to ship to canada. I got half the funds for the locker and I will finalize the front locker assem in march with ECGS... This is gonna be sweet. :)

    So after much consideration :p

I have put a call out to my supplier in my local area, he has a DISTINCT strong possibility of this being able to be picked up while at KOH ;)

if that happens he will be diving into my spare front diff in the hopes of making this happen, he makes this happen, his supplier will be advertising this as a line for sale

So keep your eyes open I am working with my guy to make it happen :p

If this does work, Ill have a rear 3.73 arb locked third up for sale

nah not yet lol, I have a spare rear third, so it would be a perfect opportunity for me to get rid of both at the same time

I guess I could offer a front and rear set-up too, with the purchasers choice of gears but at that point it would have to be a canadian customer to ensure they can afford the shipping

I was just in the process of getting my gears and lockers done when my supplier/gear guy was told to f off by ARB lol, (politics regarding him being heavily sponsored by Yukon for KOH), So if he can make the front an e-locker Ill switch to a grizzly rear and call it a day

Sub'd find this very interesting. Been considering air lockers, but have been concerned with moisture freezing in the lines freezing during winter cold snaps. An elocker would greatly simplify this.

Interested to see how well the e-locker will work without a flashing indicator light in the dash telling you if it's fully engaged.

^ARBs engage more easily, from what I read.

I have an ARB up front and E-Locker in the rear and I don't think that the ARB is that much faster than the E-locker. One big advantage the ARB has is that it is in the front so when you turn to the left or right to get it to line up, there is a bigger difference in the wheel speed between passenger and driver wheels up front than in the rear so the front will typically engage faster for that reason.

I have noticed that the E-locker disengages faster most of the time. Not sure why that is though.

This elocker is not the same at toyotas elocker, where it needs an actutor this just activates an electromagnet and it locks once lined up. On the side note in the cab this locker will hook up no dofferently than an arb on the dash. Have a button with a light or with out its all up to you guys how you rig ur units. Myself im rigging with illuminated switch when engaged... Really no different than a blinking light on the dash will tell you.
