Happy to report.......good news, Sean :amen:

    PINK UNICORN ALERT -
THE WORLD'S FIRST HARROP EATON ELOCKER FOR TACOMA / TUNDRA / T-100 / SEQUOIA / PRE RUNNER REARS

The first one off the production line is now in my 2002 Tacoma. We have delivered several others and are taking orders for these babies. The guys at Torfab in Everett, WA jumped in with both feet to make this happen in a hurry. As always, strong technical skills together with great customer service made for an excellent experience.

The very first Harrop Eaton ELocker model # A13457 - 12 bolt, 8.4" traction solution. Selected high points from the install gallery, with more to follow. Jump to the bottom to see how an 80/100 Series OEM 2-locker switch is fit to replace the clock, which I cannot see anyway.
The 2-locker switch will soon support a front Harrop model # A11167.

These Tacoma / Tundra Harrops are in production and we are taking orders for January delivery. Tell your friends and stay tuned!

As far as the front diff being weak, you just have to be careful. With the wheels straight and not flexing, ifs is very strong. It's the flexing/at full lock where CVs show their weak points.

To me, there's more potential of damage from an open diff spinning a tire up and then that tire biting quickly when it regains traction, then having a locker and both front tires spinning equally. With a rear locker, I think the front locker will only be used as needed.

This front locker idea isn't new either. Hundreds of people are running an ARB in their front diffs.

Terrain Tamer and Harrop went above and beyond to make this happen.

As importer, we are grateful, happy and proud to make it possible for Tacoma, Tundra and PreRunner owners to get locked electrically!

If you wanted to swap it into your truck somehow, and for some unknown reason, it's the same as the ones off 80 series Land Cruisers.

So realistically with these kits someone could put in an e-locker front, and then if they go to a T-100 or Tundy axle for a long travel rear, they could replace it with an e-locker option instead of needing to go ARB, correct? I know a ton of people hate on the e-locker rear on these trucks but I've also seen so many people have issues with ARB's, mostly with pinched or cut or leaking airline fittings.

Yup. This elocker doesn't use an actuator like the factory Tacoma one does. It's the actuator that causes all the issues on the factory elocker

Really digging this idea. Fuck haha it's like $400 more than ARB right?

$1314 vs $950 but then you have to factor in the compressor price, and the extra labor to mount a compressor, run air lines and switches. Where with the Harrop it's just running a switch.

I've got a friend who's going to give me the small ARB compressor they make so I'm covered there. Decisions decisions.

Less parts involved is what sold me. No compressor to go bad, no air to leak, no air solenoids. As long as 12v gets to the diff, it's locked

Wow. Epic work OP! This is very fascinating. For the longest time I've been waiting for Wavetrac to make their product for our diff (i thought they would have by now since their clientele is mainly sport cars and from what I understand our front diff is the same as the rear in the Supra. I do not understand why they refuse to make any Toyota products as )

I see you are a fellow florida man. Im in WPB. Maybe we can hit some trails
