Having a real difficult time getting the front bolts out on my leaf springs. Any suggestions? Tried cutting the nut off with angle grinder but not enough room. Can’t spin the bolt, it’s welded in good. Considering cutting the spring so I can hammer it around to get the other side cut. Is this a horrible idea? I’ve never cut a leaf before.

    I wouldn’t cut the leaf…
I would try getting a looong breaker bar and a Try and back the nut off if it’s not too mangled from the grinder already.
I think they’re about 90ft-lbs if I remember, decent but not overly tight.
You can also soak them in wd-40 or a penatrating oil to free any corrosion.

what are you trying to accomplish ?

Replacing the packs. The bolts have been soaking in pb since Saturday. Tried air gun, 3’ breaker bar, can’t even get the bolt to spin inside the bushing
