Hello all, i would like to discuss leveling my front end out after adding an add a leaf to the rear end to decrease the sag of my new camper. I have a generation 1 4x4 and now that the add a leaf is in, the rear end is significantly higher than the front, and I expected that. It did level the truck with the camper hooked up but, now I think I want to level the truck and deal with the sag. I would like to pick the brain of some of you who have installed the leveling spacers to the front shocks.

Why do I need pics to discuss an installation of a well know product. I merely want insight on a couple of aspects. I obviously haven't installed the spacers so I cannot provide photos.

Pics aren't really needed. And I was referring to a pic of the truck so someone might give insight into just what size spacer lift would be needed.
    A 1/2" spacer doesn't equal 1/2" lift.

I see well, I guess this is gonna go into why I started this thread. I attempted this install and aborted because, after I had disconnected the upper ball joint, the brake line bracket and the steering knuckle, placed the spacer on top of the shock and installed the shock into the upper mount, I wasn't sure that after bolting the shock to the bottom mount, that I was gonna first of all, be able to raise th axle up high enough to pull the upper ball joint bracket down and bolt it in and then, if I was gonna be able to raise the truck up high enough to get the wheel back on with the jack that I have. By the way, I did see the reply from Clearwater Bill and will read it as well. :)
