I bought a 2011 tacoma about two weeks ago the dealer I bought it from had it "detailed" by that I mean they stuck their advertisement all over it. anyways when they put their licence plate frame on the front bumper they just screwed it strait into the plastic bumper cover. And they did it crooked.:mad:

What's the best thing to do?

Take it back and tell them to shit in their hat! Either they fix the mistake or something... You shouldn't have to figure out how to fix their fuck up

I'd have flipped the fuck out. If the front plate is not required by the state I'd push to have the entire bumper replaced if you didn't ask for their plate to be put on.

He could easily get the plugs but the point is he didn't ask the dealer to drill holes in the bumper. Let alone crooked holes.

Oregon does require a front plate. It just pisses me off that they put it on crooked.

good luck tryin to win that arguement...although you do have a pretty good reason because they put it on crooked..

after numerous irritated phone calls to the dealers, i just went the bumper plug route...

Yeah it just pisses me off because I'm driving a brand new truck and everyone is going to think I'm an idiot that can't even put his plates in correctly.
