i would like to see what others have done to avoid drilling their front bumper. Has anyone mounted it on their airdam?

Doesn't the new Tacoma have a mounting spot for plates already?

There is a bracket that extends about 4" that they mount on the front bumper. I would like to avoid this if possible and was wondering if anyone was able to work around it

Maybe long Quick Fist clamps (the narrow type used to strap down fire extinguishers) through the lower grille? The mounting hole on the Quick Fist then bolts to the license plate.

There is two unused holes on the factory front skid plate. Tap them and use a couple of bolts with L brackets. Works great. Looked at the two bolts on the underneath but was worried if it caught something it might break the plastic mounts image.jpg

What about using industrial strength interlocking fastener tape?
