How much front lift is needed to level a 3rd Gen DCSB?

5100 shocks set to the middle notch. 1.5” or so.

If you lift the front 1.5” and not lift the back at all, you’ll look ridiculous going down the road whenever you actually put anything in the bed. I have no idea why people do this (like a grown man with his ass hanging out of his sagging pants, trying to look “cool”). Defeats the purpose of a truck, but then again TW.

Get your tape measure out, measure from center of hub up to fender - front and back. If you want to know exactly how your truck sits.

I had thought of that, however, my truck isn’t even built yet. It’s scheduled to be built 26 February, dealer is estimating a end of March delivery day.

Congrats! You are going to really like having a Tacoma once you get it. What kind of budget do you have for suspension?

No real budget but just looking to get closer to level
    Possibly 1/2” nose down

Bilstein 5100 second from bottom clip setting will net you 0.65 front lift, giving you close to 1/2" rake FB_IMG_1675620501800.jpg

People who like the level look also typically install air bags so their ass isnt drooping. Always level.

Just FYI, the front rake is designed to accommodate bed loading. Generally people only level trucks they don’t ever plan on hauling stuff with. If you ever load the bed of a “leveled” Tacoma, you likely won’t be happy with the results.

As said above measure yours when you get it before deciding how much you want to lift the front. The Pro comes an inch higher in the front from the factory and that's pretty damn level. Everyone telling you to only go a half inch are honestly just wasting time, it's barely noticeable.

And as far as hauling, most folks don't buy a little Tacoma to haul stuff daily...other than a permanent RTT or shitload of broverlander gear. 99% of the time the only thing I'm hauling is my old ass.

That's 2" up front and it's balls on level as measured above.

Lots of good advice, just in planning stages and getting opinions.

5100's set to #3 or #4 will level it.

Leveled with Bilstein 5100 shocks, Falken Rubitrek AT 265/75 tires, Redline hood struts, R4T tailgate lock, Matt Gecko LED strips in bed and under hood, WeatherTech hood guard, OEM bed mat, Husky floor mats, Carhart seat covers, Grille replacement with Toyota letters, Sony AX6000 head unit, OTT lite/mild tune, and an occasional splash of fuel additive.
Agree. Get the nose down and the rear back up. Level shouldn’t ever look nose high.

Does anyone realize that the truck is actually level when stock? Look at the frame. Level! The body has a rake to it, not the whole truck.

1.1" up front with Bilstein 5100's is the correct answer.

Bigger better shock than the OEM shocks, and Bilstein recommends you keep the OEM springs. No brainer...
