Is there any reason at all I should keep this on my truck? I rarely see any photos of trucks that still have it.

On a similar note.... Ditch the OEM mud flaps or keep them on?

Air Dam supposedly helps with MPGs. I didn't keep mine on long enough to tell. Super easy to remove. Mud flaps, that's all personal. They do help with rock chips some, but personally I prefer not to have them. I'm sure people behind you would appreciate you keeping mudflaps on, but then again, the risk of rocks flinging their windshield goes down if they aren't right on top of you.

I took both off, just based on looks. Didn't notice any drastic change in mpgs.

I took my chin off after a month of owning. There was like a .5mpg hit without the chin on my trip. (23+ mpg Texas to Alabama, 22.5mpg Alabama to Texas) but granted I got the best mpg with the truck loaded down with everything I owned..

So honestly, there isn't really any sense in keeping the chin.

If you want to get rid of the mudflaps, ill take them!

Do be careful when removing all the plastic tabs/screws if you decide to take off the chin just incase you ever want to sell the truck. some people love them for some reason.

I'm actually about to remove mine (this week sometime), just to get an idea of impact to mpg before my SSO bumper and Mobtown OR sliders get mounted. Will report back on my findings, as I track mpg meticulously.

I've been thinking about taking mine off. Only real concern for me is salt spray and shit getting more into the engine compartment during the winter, anyone experienced this? May be a good excuse to buy a skid plate :D

i took that thing off and put the screws back in the holes. My truck has plenty of chin...I don't need that extra chin hanging.
