Front part of engine rattling when closing door

Hey

when closing your driver door, do you notice any thing rattling or shaking near the front of your engine as a result?

I’ve noticed it but am not sure what it is. Anyone else notice this?

 

Pretty sure it’s the grill. Check for possible broken clips and /or isolate the loose clip with some type of felt material.

Also check the lower bumper piece where the front liscence plate is. The black plastic under rattles like crazy on mine

 

Check your imagination.

 

Are you sure it’s not something in the door ? Sounds can bounce off and make it seem like it’s coming from something else . If you truly had a rattle from the front you would hear it all the time not just when closing the door .

 

Check the metal splash guard “skid plate”… mine only had 2 bolts holding it on and rattled something terrific when closing the door.

 

Rats....It's the rats running away because they know you're about to start the engine.
