    all tore up already
even if you do find a way to mount it in an inconspicous spot you will still probably get pulled over. only other place ive seen em is around the air dam area but then they will only help to maybe get you out of a ticket after being pulled over. as much as i hate the oem bracket, it works

I bought the plate mount from @ACEkraut too, but haven't had time to put it on. Great quality stuff and no drilling.

Made from aluminum flat bar that is 1/8" by 1.5 inches wide. All hardware is stainless steel and is included. I also include 6 felt pads that can be used as a safety feature in case someone bumps into your plate. Mounting the bracket is done by removing two bumper cover bolts, placing the bracket in place and then re-installing the same bolts. Check the pictures below for an illustration of how it looks on the truck. @Pistol Pete has one of my brackets on his truck. Scroll down a couple posts from where the link starts to see what the bracket looks like painted the same color as the bumper. Here is a link to his build page:

    Pistol Pete's MGM Someday Build/BS

Price is $40 shipped anywhere in the US.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I like the one link posted above with the mounting underneath. I'm in the same boat and might just drill two small holes in skid plate and mount it there. holes in the plate might end up in the middle but that's no big deal.

Thanks! Credit where credit is due. The nice looking truck and pictures come from @bcrobbin who was kind enough to "loan" me his truck. The bracket pictured is the initial and current design.

I believe they are under the bumper cover, at least they were with my 2nd Generation bumper.

Installed my @ACEkraut 3rd gen license plate bracket on my TRD Pro yesterday and took some pics. Great product and super easy install.

Nice! And it fits well with the Toyota accessory skid plate which is great news! I figured it would but it is nice to see proof that it will. Thanks again for the purchase.
