Front Right recovery point.

I've got a 2016 TRD Sport model and think there will be an issue with this thing, sooner or later.

This recovery point is so far back from the front of the truck that I'm sure it will tear off and break the Plastic air damn.

Either giving a pull or receiving it..... It looks like a problem.

My question is...... Has anyone invented or made an "extention" for that point.? I know there is a bolt-on hook that I can get, but does that move the point far enough ahead to alleviate issues.?

I'm thinking that if I'm down in a ditch and need a forward pull (from up on the road), the right front body, etc is in the way.

Just a thought....!! Any solutions..?

Those are not recovery points in the front.
One is a tie down (the loops on the driver side for sure, not sure about passenger on the sport)
The second is only on the off road is a tow hook on the left side.
What you are describing is a tie down point.

Pretty sure just about anything anyone can ask has been covered on this site so if everyone just went to searching the answers they wanted the discussions would pretty much cease to exist.

Check out ARB's recovery point, for a true pull/snatch recovery connection. May not work wit the stock airdam.

You can cut the front air dam and use this as below.

Just be careful yanking on anything that is ONLY connected to that subframe... better if you had connections to the actual frame.
