Yea its really strange. I had to sell my front runner rack almost a year ago for this price too. It's a great rack and well known company, so not sure why it's not getting swooped up quicker.

 

Can this be converted/mounted as a cap rack on a short bed?

 

My guess is it's not streamlined like prinsu and some people don't like the choppier look... not sure... it's so much more useful than the others. You can add a TABLE to it! I like the look especially with the extension over the bed.

Just checked with Front Runner and it could work, but the feet/mounts needed would run around $175. Still a good deal for someone!

What are the width of the bars? I currently have a set at 56” on the bed of my truck.
