FRSteve, your website you are back ordered on the bike mounts and black tie downs. Do you know when those will be available?

Should have some black tie downs this week. We do have our stainless rings in stock however. Bike mounts will be a little longer out unfortunately.

Thanks! It is definitely an awesome rack. I dont feel the need to be modest about it! haha.

XM antenna works with it yes, but the rear rack section sits right above it. Some customers say no issue at all, others say it cuts out more frequently but still works.

I don't think you should either;). It's a damn good looking rack. Thanks for the response.

Do you make any kind of Kayak mount or would a Thule, Yakima, etc. bolt up too it without much issue? I suppose I could look it up on your site but I'm being lazy lol

We make a kayak holder set yes, http://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/Rack-Accessories/FRONT-RUNNER-KAYAK-CANOE-HOLDER-SET-p30.html

I have seena lot of Thule/Yakima accessories adapted to our racks, but I have not tried all of the different lines. We should have a Thule specific adapter shortly that will make it easier to use. Thanks!

Steve, you were actually the guy I spoke with too; I know because you gave me your card. I DEFINITELY feel as though y'all's rack is worth the price. Personally, I will be, eventually, getting the rack and ordering the 6 extra cross bars to make the rack solid floored. So I can stand up there or sit a chair up there if need be, as we discussed at the Expo. In addition, I will be getting the expedition bars, kayak rack, and the cool shower head you showed me as well. Then i will put a light 30" light bar between the roof and bottom of rack; like the one you showed me on your phone on Sunday. And I'm sure I'll find more accessories to add to it. I love tactical/modular accessories for the Taco.

The first thing I said when I was looking to buy a taco in 09 and the dealer showed me all the compartments, bed rails and features was, "damn this truck is tactical" and that spawned my forum name and vanity license plate :)

I can't wait to save up the money for this absolutely amazingly cool and superbly designed and built rack.

You should always do a feeler before an order. Theres no guarntee steve will even do one for our forum. IF, if he doesn and we get it done in time, maybe he would honor GB pricing for your order..

LOL - I still need to see if Steve will even entertain the idea, but @3 already. Might be worthwhile to get a GB thread/ feeler started.

I think I answered you directly but for the other forum members: The rack has free shipping but accessories and other items will have a shipping charge. Thanks!

We generally do not to group buys direct, but I have been speaking with one of our dealers about doing one. It will be tough because we have priced this rack pretty low and it already has free shipping. But we will see if we can work something out!

So let me get this straight. You charge shipping BUT you put everything in the same box? The box would have been the same even if I had not ordered any accessories. Sounds a bit shady to me but whatever. Good product though.

OK - cool. SO when you get the details hashed out, can you have the vendor pop in here and let us know the deal?

Personally I want the Dual cab rack and the shortbed (leer) camper/topper rack also.

Dean, the shipping is automatically calculated by our computer system. Anything that is not a rack gets a shipping charge. My computer does not calculate how we will package the box, and my shipping department does not see how much you pay for shipping.

Computer gets an order, charges appropriate shipping. Shipping department gets the order, packs efficiently as they see fit. There is nothing shady about it, we added your extra items to the box and it increased the weight. Regardless, you seem unhappy about it and I will refund the $15.00 charge to you today.
