Its not hard to install yourself. Remove panels carefully and simple bolt in....and one plug.

its the 'removal of panels' part that may cause issues on mine
    :notsure:
or rather the getting it all back together kosher with no issues

xtraCab is a bit different than DC (i think?)

Had mine off completely years ago to replace the speakers. Not too bad but a little tricky to line all the holes and tabs up correctly since it is one big piece. Do it on a warm day too. To get to the seat belt assembly only you may be able to pull it out just enough?

I have 2 brand new ones from Toyota, both suck. They might retract 1 out 10 times, maybe,

Hate to ask but is there a problem with the installation of the panels? Maybe interfering with the belt? Odd that new ones would have a problem. Mine work great and almost suck you in the back of the seat.

Yeah, I'm with you. I installed my new drivers side seat belt assembly last week, and it now holds you to the seat.

Sprayed mine with silicone this morning, used it five times this afternoon. It’s almost back to normal. Normal as in not retracting.
