Probably just figured out why my pickup leaned and always slightly pulled to the driver side.
There was one top bushing below the top plate and not one above.
FSM is showing two, kits come with two, local off-road shop says two, Downsouth says two, logic says two, passenger side has two.
The local Toyota dealership is claiming that one bushing is correct, and trying to tell me I'm the idiot and the left side has a spacer lift.
I guess this is a good reminder of why I do my own labor and don't take my truck to those assholes. And that you never know what a previous owner did right or wrong.

Yep, there are supposed to be two bushings. You are correct. Do your own work. :D

That being said, if the missing one was above the top plate it should not affect lift or lean in any way. Unless the top nut is working it's way through the top plate.

Glad to know I'm not the crazy one.

Shoot, that is a really good point. I probably haven't solved anything. Hopefully driver side suspension was just a little more worn in. Alignments always been good, tires wear evenly, pull doesn't get worse when breaking or anything. Been scratching my head for 3 years over this.

It was leaning about 3/4 inch on a good day. Lol front drivers shock was in the worst shape for some reason. Was completely blown. Probably from all the heavy stuff on that side, the heaviest things in my toolbox were on the drivers side, and for a year I lived at a house my truck was parked nightly with the front drivers side flexed up.
