I plan on replacing my front shocks/strut bushings this weekend. I have bilstein shocks and the lower bushings are shot. I purchased energy suspension poly bushings. Does anyone have experience or write up for this task? I have been told the only way to get the worn bushings out is by torching them and scraping them out. Then press the new ones in. That is what I plan on doing at this point.

Grey wire and keyless entry. I like stock.
Did the ES bushings come with a metal od sleeve? I know ES stuff doesn't. If it didn't, yeah you'll have press out the old rubber part and torch the shit out of the remaining rubber to get smooth/wide enough to accept your new bushings pressed in.
