Just had a 3" toytec installed on my new Tacoma, when the front shocks rebound, getting a thump from the front, wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

Is it the shocks reaching the end of their travel length from the lift?

I don't think so, when they are compressing all is good, but just a thump on rebound, almost feels like they should be softened up a bit, the truck is brand new, went off road for the first time yesterday, on bigger potholes, rebound only

So if it's the Boss kit it says on the website that it provides a 0 - 2 inch lift. You stated you have a 3", I think you may have adjusted the coilovers improperly. How many threads are showing on the front shocks?

Sorry been away, had it installed at the dealer, maybe there is too much tension on the springs causing the thump on rebound, how much thread should be showing?
