Ive got a OEM Front Skid plate on the way and I would like to paint it black (and possibly put one of Sock Monkeys White TRD Decals on it). What paint do most of you use for a project like this? I want something deep black, and something that will do well against rocks, etc. Im sure there will be upkeep involved, just looking for insight into what I need to paint this thing a rich black color to match the black on my white Taco.

    Thanks!

I say Dupli-Color wheel paint... Or caliper paint...

It's made to be on the outside and take abuse from debris, heat, UV rays, etc...

If you want serious protection, try POR epoxy paint, just don't get any on you .
Auto parts & auto body supply stores stock it.

What would be a decent method to get white lettering in on it? Stencil-Paint? Stickers?
