Would I need to compress the springs to remove these spacers?IMG_20240107_161110324_HDR.jpg IMG_20240107_161024697.jpg

Thanks. Kind of along the same line, but if I were to install new shocks and keep the springs, I would need to compress them. Correct?

    Yes.
What you see there by your pic is the spacer is bolted independently to the strut top. So the spacer is completely separate from the strut assembly once the 3 nuts removed. To replace shocks, compress spring and unbolt shock shaft bolt to the strut top. Many videos on YouTube for DIY

Thank you, that is what I thought. Since I am not dealing with compressing the springs, I will probably just install new coilovers.
