Front spoilers

Other than approach angle and ground clearance, why would one want to remove the front spoiler/valance?

 

Some people just like the look of the truck without it.

 

I took mine off, and put it back on, because I didn't care for the look of that steel bar. Be cool if someone made a short spoiler just to cover the hardware.

 

To me, it just looks ugly. Personal choice of course.

 

The only purpose to even have it is to slightly improve MPG. But honestly it's ugly and the mpgs lost from removing it are negligible.

 

I was waiting to get the TRD skid plate first.. but it’s been bugging me.. and not ready to dish out 400 bucks for a piece of metal... so .. it finally happened today. And it looks so much better. As a plus.. I hadn’t noticed that the sports come with a plain looking skid plate... that will eventually be removed or covered once I get the TRD one.
But the truck looks so much nicer and clean.

 

I don't think it looks good. I don't think the bar looks good either. The spoiler looks worse, that's one piece of plastic that should be banned.

That is exactly what the Tacoma’s are about... you see them high... but you also see them slammed.. and everyone is happy
