hello yota heads. brand new to the site so go easy on me. I've been following similar threads but still trying to get the best set up info. here goes: 97 4x4 3.4 Xcab , I will have about 1-1.5 rear leaf spring lift, question is will stock coils on the front w 5100 height adj billies level me out and allow 265/75/16's w stock steel wheels from 3rd gen fit with no adjustments and should I get any new bushings for front or rear while I'm in there? I'm good on the rear lift just trying get the front right the first time. thanks dudes and dudettes

not sure on the front lift but you can fit 265/75 with no lift so that shouldnt be an issue

Looks like you've got er pretty well figured out there... id personally get a new set of lift coils like OME or some eibachs to pair with the billies so you're not preloading your old worn out stockers. But thats totally a preference thing, theres nothing wrong with what you wanna do as far as keeping your oem coils and pairing them with the new billies!

Yeah if you stick with a stock spring you will need to preload it to achieve any lift with the billies. Otherwise it will stay at stock height. To not preload youll need a set of eibachs, which are pretty damn stiff especially with no additional weight up front, or get a pair of OME coils. They offer a lil bit of a selection too choose from aswell, as far as height and capacity. You can pair them with the billies or get the struts that OME offers with them. They arent adjustable though, but not really needed if you are already achieving your lift via taller coil...

ok, bear with me...I have to pre load the stock springs and adj the billies up to level out. If I get ome springs do I still need ht adj. billies or just the longer ones? I dont need a stiff ride and only slow roll off road on dirt, grass, and sand...I want to stick w billies all the way around if poss, thanks for your patience...

Yes stock springs will have to be preloaded by adjusting the billies in order to achieve any amount of lift.

If you get OME coils you will keep the billies at the bottom setting (no lift) as the coils will provide the lift.

I like and use wheelers offroad for lots of my goodies i buy, they are super close to me too, i can drive to them. But check them out for any of your needs. They are a vendor on here too, i believe they have a TW coupon code as well. They carry the billies along with any goodie you would pretty much ever need including all of the OME stuff!! They also are pretty dang knowledgeable so if you need any clarification when ordering dont be afraid to ask just place your order over the phone! They will get ya set up perfectly!
