I have them in my garage.... all I need is the time to install them. I'll report back soon, I hope!

Glad to be of help dude! I just wanted to let the community know about these as they made such a big difference for me. Glad to hear others are having a similar experience. After reading through all the posts it seems those with lifts dont get as much as a benefit but still have the added benefit of Big ol bumps.

RedComet thank you. I think your right about stock suspensions but with such a mild lift like I have 2 in front and a 1 inch rear block, I'm slightly touching the front stops and a 1/4 from the rears touching. I think my ride and thoughts are right on par with others as it doesnt take much to get the bumps to touch when driving. I think they work great with the 5100s. I'm thank you again for sharing this.

I’ve emailed them about spacers to see how it is if there is less/no space. I can feel the difference going over speed bumps and am curious how it would be if the always touch. If it ends up limiting up travel, I would take them out, so we’ll see what happens.

That would be really helpful for those that are lifted. Hopefully they get back to you soon.

I’ll keep everyone updated. I could probably go to Home Depot and grab oil resistant rubber that would work but I’ll see what they offer and how much.

I’ve been happy with the rear ones on my current taco. I’ll transfer them to the new SR5 I pick up next week and probably order a set of fronts.

I think that its going to be a very minimal difference if they are slightly touching or a slight gap.

If you don’t hear back let me know and I’ll pm you the guys email I have talked with before (always has been fast to respond). Also if a spacer is an option it would be a hard plastic type not rubber (based off the fact the spacer I got for my rears from them), I think the same material as the base of the sumo springs actual.

That would make sense and thanks for the offer. I’ll give them a day or two to respond. I might have something around here that could work as well but I’d prefer something made for it lol.

That’s not a bad idea either. I’m gonna look around the garage and see what I might have. What are they, 2” I’m diameter. The ones on eBay might be a good option, depending what Sumo comes back with on an email. Thanks for the idea.

For others reading, don’t get the wrong idea, I’m not unhappy with them, I’m just the type of person that checks to see if something could be better, in this case by removing the gap by adding a spacer.

Paid alittle more for stainless steel but think it should work... Waiting for rear spacers and I'll put it on the week end.. the rear I'm gonna have to cut the original thread and drill a hole for a longer bolt but think it should work .

You didn’t see my post on stud length did you? You don’t have that much thread for all that- for whatever that thickness means 3/4 or 1”.

You have 1/2” of remaining thread for full thread engagement in the front. As for the rears, you’ll have to cut off and drill out the stud in the bracket then use a countersunk head (name?) bolt. 1 1/2” seems excessive, should of contacted super springs for recommendations because they’d probably recommend the gen 2 sumos for your lift but that’s just a guess

Why have them sitting right against the frame on the rear where as the factory one were no where near as close and the same goes for the front. I have a 2/1 setup on 5100s and I think the rears touching would stiffen up the ride. I prefer the gap.
