Been using the Sumos front and back for about a year now, still loving how it rides and handles. I'm lifted 2/1 on 5100s and these new bump stops work so well with my setup.

Not a ton of comments on here on how it interplays with the fox pro suspension. Debating picking up some for the front and rears though.

Did you end up getting these for your Pro?

I have been thinking about putting on the fronts on my pro. And then getting some blue rear ones to help when I tow a small trailer with a 4wheeler during hunting season.

Anyone else have thoughts on how they work with the fox pro suspension? @bshammer0 seems to like his on his fox pro shocks. Any updates since you have been driving it. Offroad?

Did the SSR-627-40 not SSR-612-40 in the rear since I added AAL for the additional lift when I lifted the overall fox suspension.

    These things are pretty great.

I’m running the 6112s up front on the highest notch, which gives a little bit of room for the SumoSprings, so little bumps are still handled by the shocks.

Man, these things do a great job of reducing body roll. So much so that I gave removing the sway bar another shot (didn’t like how much the truck rolled at higher speeds last time I tried it). It rides like a dream now. Body roll is barely increased over having the sway bar installed, and I mean you really have to try to tell the difference.

Off-road performance is pretty awesome. It’s so nice not slamming into bump stops, and these serve as a nice complement to the suspension for absorbing the bigger bumps. It all makes for a more stable feeling off-road.

I liked the fronts so much that I snagged some for the rear too. I’ve got an AAL which provides 2” of lift, and don’t haul a lot of weight most of the time, so the frame doesn’t make contact with them very often. Looking forward to see how they perform next time I tow.

Anyone with long travel rocking these? I’m already rocking a secondary triple bypass but having a bump stop that is a hockey puck isn’t comfortable when you hit it hard. Debating giving this a shot before bailing and just making a hydro bump work

Got the fronts in and honestly they’re not too bad. They’re still new so may need to break them in a bit. Definitely feels more stable over bumps

Been on mine for a few years, adding them front and rear to get rid of the OEM junk ones. Love the way it rides and handles over ruff areas.

I put some medium Sumos on the back with some medium OME Nitrochargers in hopes of stabilizing the slop in the back when going over bumps. It helped. Also helps support loads better. Picked up 6 sheets of OSB and it barely sagged, if at all

You have black so I believe those are even more sturdier.

regardless I always liked that due to the fact that they can hold weight well

I've got the rear ones installed already, but have the front ones that just arrived waiting to go on this weekend. Looks like some need to cut the bolt down and some don't when installing on a truck that isn't lifted. I'm anxious to see how the install goes for me and how it feels afterward. I'm going to try using a piece of paper as some have suggested to see if that helps.

    :fingerscrossed:

You’re gonna have to trim the stud a little bit. Also, be careful when threading them in as you can easily strip the threads

Thanks for the info. I've read all of this thread and it looks like on here and in some reviews on their site, that this will pretty much be a requirement if you're not lifted. I think I've changed my mind on how I'm going to install these after more reading. It looks like the best way may be to pull the original off, measure how long that bolt is, then thread the nut it comes with down the Sumo spring and run it back off after the cut to help with the threads.
