King 25001-119A, JBA HC and superbumps, EL095 leafs with longer overload leaf removed and 2 degree shim, Bilstein 5160 rears with fox roost shield on passenger side, King 2'' bump stops, B&M 70264 trans cooler, CSF FJ radiator, Leer Trilogy X2T bed cover, Scangauge, 34R AGM battery, weathertech floormats, Gold plug on the differential, fancy engine and diff oils, UNI air injection filter mod, Factory antenna chopped 4'', De-badged, Ram mount on A pillar, Cooper ST Maxx 265/75 R16.
I used a 4 foot long piece of 2x2 wood as a pry bar, to push the LCA about 1/2'' lower than it would hang so the shock eye would line up when installing my kings. This was zero rust 25k miles. I'd try that

Thanks guys, today I went with the other method and used the autozone suicide sticks to compress the shocks and assemble them. I went to just about every shop in my town to ask if they’d compress them for me and they all gave me busy or broken compressor. Took the UCA joint away and fit it in there. Still doesn’t fix the problem that my cams are frozen. Using those autozone spring compressors is scary as hell, especially with the replacement 3rd gen OR suspension with 717lb coils.

Way back when I had my Z28, I put lowering springs on it and used the spring compressors. I ended up wearing my racing helmet as protection the entire time.

When I bought my OME 883 and adj 5100's, I didn't think twice about paying for them to install. I actually sought out that option as there was no way I was using a compressor again.

My lowers were really tight also. I attached a rachet strap/pull jack to th opposite side control arm or frame and was able to remove shocks.

Yeah seeing those shafts bend made me sick to my stomach. Didn’t help that the guy at autozone who rented them to me told me that his buddy broke his hand using one.
