Suspension mods - 5100 Bilstein set @ 1.75. Stock UCA.

I have a slight passenger side squeak that's driving me up the wall. I can only hear it when the passenger side window is down. Even stationary I can lift the truck up and down and hear the squeak and I can't pinpoint where it's coming from. Granted this squeak only started a few weeks back while I've had the lift for 4 months. I've been under the truck and can hear the squeak right in front of me, but still can't pinpoint since there's so many areas in a small section it could come from.

Should I start with dropping the sway bar first? Where are common squeak points up front? I feel like Agent Mulder trying to find the truth! :annoyed:

Mine started after it went through it's first rain.<100 miles. Sounded like a 57 Chevy w/o grease. Took it in, they removed the grill, 4 technicians messed with it. They said they found a couple loose bolts, but I think they sprayed lube spray on things (which I asked them not to). Went away until it went through another rain. Will take it back after it dries. Will repost with ant results. Also I have that howl from strong cross winds. It's short lived after the gust, but real annoying. Will try plugging the holes per another post but it almost sounded like the wind going across the wipers........Still love the truck though. Nothing like a Toyota for me.

Yes, try the sway bar first.

Bad LCA balljoints can be squeaky.
To for check play on the vehicle; jack it up, support the LCA, and push up/down on the rotor/wheel.
I'm thinking, lift might affect play though.
Allowable play on 2nd gen was like 0.020" iirc.
There's another test, but that requires removal of the spindle from the lca balljoint and a dial torque wrench.

Thanks for the suggestion. Going to move my Bilstein setting from 1.75 to .85 this weekend and will check some of these areas.
