    6AF76DF2-DE07-4D84-9161-79A2524A0F5D.jpg Hey guys,

I’ve had my ‘98 Tacoma for little more than a month now. Ive changed the front coil-overs, put in a transmission cooler, and changed the spark plugs.

I still notice very loud squeaking when hitting any sort of bump at low speeds and turning the wheel. Turns out every single boot (upper axle, lower, etc.) is pretty shot out.

I also have an issue with tire rub. Theres barely an clearance between the upper control arm and the 33” tires, so you can see signs of the tire rubbing against the upper control arm.

So I definitely have to go about replacing all these parts and I would love to upgrade the suspension parts though (upper/lower control arms, tie rods, etc.) but Id greatly appreciate your guys’ input on where to source the upgraded hardware.

P.S. - The truck is lifted with a spacer that I think is about 1.5”. I heard that isnt the best method of lifting the truck so I plan to replace that once I run through these Roadmatic Monroes.

Solo motorsports stock width LCA’s, OEM lower balljoints, Bilstein 5100 (ditch the spacer), SPC UCA’s and you’ll be set.

If you're going to start recommending those LCAs then I'd also start recommending reinforcing the strut tower/coil buckets... https://eimkeith.com/buystuff/stk/
