I just bought a 2004 , auto, 4WD, TRD that’s stock and The front suspension is shot .
Upper and lower bushings , ball joints, etc. It has 126,00 mile on it and I’m surprised at the condition in a stock truck that’s in good condition for a 19 year old truck.

I was going to lift it it for leveling and a little more ground clearance but decided I did not want to sacrifice a good ride. I do quite a bit of driving off pavement on ranch roads with some
Dry creek crossings. The Toyota handles that way better than my one ton 7.3 Ford
, that will occasionally get stuck and my 5.9 Ram that spins tires and throws rocks in the
Soft spots. The Toyota is lighter and stays on top and goes right across with Cooper mud
    Tires

I’m going to replace the upper and lower front arms, ball joints and other parts as needed.
What is the best suspension kit to buy ? Rock auto has a couple of kits.
I’ve used Dorman parts on other trucks and they were good quality.
What do you guys think ?
    Thanks

If you're looking for a decent setup with lower budget you could go with an OME setup. Really just depends on how much money you want to throw at it. Could go full blown coilovers, leafpacks, etc if you want to go all out.
