Correct. First accessory I purchased was the front rail. Then added RockyMounts, BAMF corners, etc.

And FYI, they don't interfere with the factory tonneau and it's mount points.

Have you looked under the bed to see how they are backed? Mine have plates that spread the load across the surface of the bed. It would take a lot to rip those out.

The D ring under the bed bolt is a great alternative if you don't trust the OE one

Almost that’s why i brought it up. Why not just buy $3 d rings and have them mounted to the frame for extra strength. That just me i guess.

I'm definitely going to look into the d rings and it makes more sense if the OP is loading a 400+ lb. bike. Mine is only around 230 lb.

Those bamf corner pieces look fine for a mtb or other gear but on a mc I want the ties at the same point as the tires to pin it down better.

I also use a wheel chock in mine, but I only put dirt bikes in the bed. Anything heavier goes in the trailer.

The ones that are attach to that front rail to keep the tire straight? I'd consider that if I had more than one bike in and the tailgate down. The suspension is so mushy I can't imagine two or three bikes in it.

I got the LB so the front tire is wedged into that left corner.

If I had to do it all over again, I would probably use something like this...

That chock part looks like it replaces the front bed cap/rail.....figures, I just bought that front bed rail!

Looks nice, $240 seems a little steep though.

Don't use the front factory tiedown points for anything that heavy, or of value. I cracked one just tying down some lumber, tight yes, but not over the top. Do the D ring additions, much stronger and the lower points are handy for smaller loads.

It was only an example. There are other similar bars. The guy at tacomatruckparts doesn't seem to be making them any longer.

D rings is the best bet by far! I have a short bed and 1000cc sport bike and I don't want to lose it while driving.

I bought some d rings from Dodge that fit perfectly on the bed bolts and used them to tie my klr down which weighs about 500 lbs. I drove from TX to Co and even did some offroading with the bike in the bed and it didn't move at all.

You wouldn't happen to have the part number for them?

X2. I'd rather buy some that are actually made to hold heavy stuff as opposed to some surplus stuff.

Probably depends on the size of the d ring plate....I looked under the truck and those screws are very long.
