Front tow hook replacement?

    The so called rated stuff is just a number the manufacturer put on it, how would you know the actual pulling force or how close you are to exceeding the" rated" limit? If it breaks they will say, we aren't responsible for anything because you must have exceeded the rated limit, you can't prove you didn't and they know that of course, this is why Toyota won't put a number on the factory drivers side hook, it's always about the lawyers. That thing is meaty and I've never seen any pics or videos of one that's failed, I wouldn't hesitate to hook up to that no matter how stuck I was. You gotta use your head when your doing any kind of pulling of anything , high load forces of any kind can be potentially dangerous , but you gotta get unstuck somehow.
