New 2nd Gen owner here (2013 TRD Sport 4x4), the owner's manual briefly references the towing eyelet (left) but doesn't give any guidance on the other heavy ring (right), it's use, limitations, guidelines, etc. Am I correct that this is a towing ring, and where can I find limitations or guidelines for use? Thanks.

I think the ring is how they tie it down to transport it.

he's right. I've used it for light work, but the "eyelet" is the recovery point. Get a TRD OR tow hook -they come up for sale kinda often. I paid $50 for mine on here. The hook works with straps - you don't want to break your "recovery point" and have a shackle or hook on the end of a strap go rocketing into the truck your pulling/ pulling you.
