Hello everybody--I am new to the forum. I have a 2014 double cab Tacoma which I love so far. It has 10 K miles. My only complaints so far is lousy gas milage and what I think is poor visibility when turning either direction. There seems to be blind spots created by the mirrors. I'm thinking if the seat was just an inch higher it may help. Has anybody else noticed this or is it my imagination?

What kind of gas mileage are you getting? These trucks were never designed to be fuel sippers lol. And the visibility is different for everyone because everyone's body is different. Some people sit more upright than others and some sit further back than others. Now, I cant afford a new Tacoma but I've driven the new one about 10-12 times and visibility for me was fine. I suppose I'm used to the bigger mirrors on my 01. But I sit at a slight recline with the seat pretty far back (I'm 6').

I don't have a problem with my 14. But I am 6'1" and that might help
