Raplaced 2 front wheel bearings on my sons 08 4 door Tacoma TRD last night. About 40 minutes a side. Lots quieter and smoother ride.

The front suspension is the Tacoma weak point, mostly the front bearings.
    I've replaced mine twice.

I just started getting a noise from one of mine at a few weeks ago, 266000 miles. I looked at rock auto when the noise started, and they had the Dorman hub assembly for about $85.00. I was going to order them yesterday, and now is is no longer listed. I guess I will just buy the bearing and do it myself.

That might not be a bad thing. My experience with Dorman parts is 100% bad. Generally speaking, they're the Harbor Freight of auto parts.
