I had to replace my wheel bearing, front passenger side. After taking the wheel off I was trying to spin the hub and noticed that it stopped pretty hard at a specific point. I could force it to turn over again, then it would spin normally until it made a full rotation then it would bind up again. I finished swapping the wheel bearing and it's still like this. Even with the wheel on, I can spin the wheel and it will rotate freely until it hits something and binds. Then I have to force the wheel past whatever it's binding on to continue spinning. Anyone know what's up?

I had the rotor off, spinning the hub by itself...

Is suspension fully extended when this occurs? If so, jack under lca to reduce angle of cv.

Wow great call, Jacking the Lca made the binding almost completely Disappear. So should I be concerned about the very very slight binding I notice now? I have a 900 mile road trip in a couple weeks....

Not unless you plan on having both LCA fully down the entire drive.

They're binding because they're at full droop. You'll be fine on your road trip.

What do you have done suspension wise?

    This ^^^^

If you have a lift, It may have changed the suspension and drive geometry enough to cause the CV joints to bind when the LCAs are fully down.

Do as you wish. You know that there is a problem and it is not going to get any better by itself.

I have a 2" leveling kit, the left side doesn't bind but the right side does. Might be a problem there...
