After a recent heavy rain storm I took my 2010 4x4 out to explore, OK play in the water.
I hammered through a couple of flooded roads, Then I found a lake at the local shopping center, heavy rains always floods the parking lot, I made several fast runs in at least a foot of water.
So when I got home my right fog light was full of water. The right well liner has louvers in the front that directs water off the tire right on to the fog light vent hole. Does anyone know why these louvers are there? the left well liner is solid. I plan to cover the opening, I don't think it is needed.DSCN1289.jpg

Opening to allow air in to the fender, then to the engine intake.
