Frontier and Tacoma

friend of mine is in the market for a new truck and the all new frontiers have 5k markup!!! Tacoma’s no markup but 6 week wait (unless you want 4wd) thats even more. This is crazy!!

 

A fishing buddy recently traded his 2019 trd in for one. I didn't ask what he paid, only that he claimed he couldn't refuse the offer made to him. Personally i think he was so pissed off from the tacoma any offer would have been acceptable.
As far as the nissan its a real nice truck. I actually think its a better driving/riding truck on the asphalt than my sr5, and especially his trd. Its got a better bottom end pull with none of the annoying vibration issues his trd had. For whatever he'll use it for, its perfect.

I hate when buying a new pair of jeans that are exactly the same as my old pair of jeans only to find out that they're not. Same brand, cut, waist, length, inseam, everything, but somehow they fit completely different. That's so stupid.

 

i stopped buying jeans a long time ago, all i use is jogger jeans

 

I hope that nissan doesnt have the same front diff as the previous model. If it does, make sure you have 3 spares on hand.

 

Your friend needs to shop around more. My local Nissan dealer was willing to sell me an SV or a Pro-4X for sticker. But the selection was very limited.

 

Finding a Tacoma without a markup is next to impossible.

Car market is insane all around right now, Honda dealership near me has 5 new cars total at the dealership. Ford Broncos 10k+ markups, used Tacoma's at dealerships priced over their original MRSP and people are buying them.

Just looked up Ford broncos available near me. There are two, both with a 20k mark up, just because, no added anything.

 

I remember buying a brand new 2006 Pathfinder and within 3 years everything was falling apart inside. Cupholders, armrest, door panels, power window switches, rear glass struts , blown shocks at 40k miles.

That was the last Nissan I bought for myself.

 

Anyone want to buy my Tacoma for $40k?

A markup on a Nissan? That would imply that people actually want to buy that garbage. Out of all the dealers I drive by, Nissan lots are the fullest, next to Chrysler/Dodge.
