I just installed a slimline II yesterday. The components appear up to the task. Feels very solid and looks great. I can’t wait to put it to the real test.

What’s the height from the cab to the top of the rack?

Website says measure the rack and foot rail but nothing gives the height of the foot rail.

Are you asking me about heights?

I just took some measurements. See photos of side, rear, and front height from roof.

That looks pretty cool. I found the link as well.

Does the Innocences sticker peel off? I wouldn't want that on there. And it looks like the mounting gets in the way of adding attachments to the forward bar. Is that the case?

Sure did...they recommended it for snugtop rebel. Glad I did as the feet are adjustable. They also mentioned that the wind screen works better with the tall version.

Thanks. One more question. Did you get the 69x49 inch rack? I’m trying to decide if I should go with the longer one and let it hang over the back. Even considering the wider 53 inch rack but then I would need to get the wider cab rack as well if I get both.

I went with the 61 x 49. I originally thought that I wanted the 69". but when the rack arrived, I was glad that I didn't. The 49" width is perfect IMO, but I never wanted a rack that was larger than the surface area of the top of my camper shell.

I like the looks of the low version better. I set the height so that the wind deflector was about an 1/8" off of my Snugtop XV. This is the upgraded version of the Rebel. The only problem with this setup (after a 1,500 mile trip) was that the 2 piece mounts did not maintain their height. This caused the deflector to rub some paint off of the shell. To remedy this, I put an aluminum spacer inside of each mount and drilled a hole for the height adjustment screw at the fixed height that I wanted for the rack.

Had two separate Front Runner roof racks on 2 separate vehicles, tacoma and gladiator. Nothing but problems. Poor fitment and design and even worse customer service.
