From my research, looking at stores and ordering from Orion and Frosty I think there are 3 tiers of rotomolded coolers. There is Frosty and Ozawa that are budget and decent quality. Then there is RTIC, Vibe, Permafrost, Fatboy etc that reside in the middle range. Then the top tier is Orion, Pelican, Yeti, Orca, Siberian, Grizzly, Engel etc.

Talking about family sized the first category are sub $200 range.
    Then the middle range $200-300
    The the top tier $300-$500.

Lot of work getting that hose and hooking up, compared to carrying. Just my pennies. If I'm losing coolness/ gaining heat from there, I would rather not have such a large opening. But I do like that it's a way better drain cover than the old school flip stops.

My 85qt arrived yesterday. Finally got around to getting some shots of it. Seems to have a good seal, has tie-downs, the rubber feet are great. All and all, it's really not a bad cooler.

Nice combo. I ordered the 20 Vibe. It will become my new Lunch box witch needs to be replaced.

Both my 65 and 20069 basket will be here this weekend, so I'll know then if the basket fits.

Got my 65 a few days ago and emailed and called them to talk about going up to an 85... Little over 24 hours and still no response.

Which number or email address did y'all use?

I would call and there should be an upgrade fee of $40. Explain to them that the 65 wasnt what you wanted.

Gotcha. Yeah, the one I called went straight to voicemail and sounded like some dudes personal phone. But I'll wait a bit longer, originally was going to go with another cooler but after seeing enough reviews on here I figured I'll stick with em, I just want those tie down molds on the other sizes. Now debating whether to go down to a 45 or up to an 85 lol.

Forgot they made a 55. So the question is 55 or 85 lol.

Don't too hunt often. But when I camp or go wheeling I'm usually out for 3-4 days with one extra person. Might just go with the 85. We drink a lot lol :cheers:
