    I was told via emai from Frosty on Wednesday my 55qt. would be shipping Thursday (8/10) or Friday (8/11). No shipping info yet so hopefully tomorrow.

    My 65 fits under my tonneau just fine and I have a bed mat. 55 should be good to go

    A 55 is 1" to tall to fit under my Access Laredo low profile Tonneau on my '14 Taco. I went with the 65. That is actually 1" shorter in height than the 55.

    55=18" tall.
    65=17" tall.

    Damn, I have the 65 sitting home, but I really wanted the slots for the tie downs. I often drive through rough roads when carrying a cooler. I guess ill be forced to get a refund, the 85 seems way too big.

    I'm pretty sure that the pins holding the handles could have small d rings or something similar clipped onto them

    The 55 is 18 inches vs 17 inches on the 65 and I am also using a bed mat. I don't want to risk trying to trade it in for a 55 and have it not fit under the cover.

    Also, by strapping down the handles, you are putting extra wear on that part. The molded tie down slots seem to be more durable and less parts to fail. I don't think the cooler would fail during the warranty period, but those handles will eventually fray or break at the mounting point.

    I already thought the 65 was too big, the 85 must be massive. Perfect for salt water fishing or hunting.

    The 85 will get you through a 3-4 day trip. It's pretty big, but can't imagine it being that much larger than a 65. It's actually marked as an 80qt.
    The handles are a bit sketchy as the end rope is simply a knot. I'll give it a go as-is for the first time, but will be keeping an eye on it. My biggest concern with the 85 is weight. It's gonna be a b*tch to get in and out of the bed when it's full.

    Beauteous. I really like these coolers! :thumbsup: Those holes on the outside edge must be for a lock.
