Im rolling around offshore right now, but shes iced and beered up in the bed of my truck right now getting broken in. Been there since sunday, and i won't see it again till saturday. But what i do have for ya right now is that its got a nice seal around the lid that is pretty tight. The drain plug sweats when its cold but so does my coleman 65 which does fine with a load of ice for a week. To get water to drain out well, (ive heard mention if a review where people were having trouble draining water?) you need to crack the lid, otherwise the lid seal is so good that you get the milk jug effect. I dont have a yeti or rtic or anything to compare to, but it feels solid but not obscenely heavy. The hinges seem plenty strong (a hell of a lot stronger than my coleman) if you open your cooler every few minutes for a beer, its not going to hold ice any better than a 5 buck styrofoam cooler. Its got nice rubber feet that dont allow it to slide across the bed of the truck. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. Dont expect a quick answer from me though, signal is spotty when you can't see land.

I can get photos when i get home. A 45 doesnt fit a whole lot. A couple of days worth of food or beer, depending on how much you ingest. If i forget to get photos, remind me haha.

Frosty rep stated " We do not offer baskets or trays for our coolers right now. We have had customers purchase igloo trays as most of these sizes are universal" @RIDERED67

I take it everyone knows the trick of throwing a flashlight or lamp in the cooler, closing the lid and turning the room lights out. If you have any issues with the insulation, you'll see light through the walls of the cooler. Always do this when I get a new cooler.

    2 questions

Who has time to read through 27 pages of your build thread hoping to find the post about your cooler brand choice?

Why are you pushing another brand of cooler so hard in someone else's GB feeler thread?

If you have legitimate content such as a reason why people should stay away from Frosty coolers or something then let's hear it

I don't see him as pushing another brand or steering anyone away. I do see him addressing questions that people have asked him. Actually, he never once mentioned the other brand. I think he has been very kind and discrete in the thread.

first off feller, Im not pushing any other brands, I replied to a comment I was tagged in, and then other questions were asked. Second, dont look at my build thread if you dont wish but its on the last page for those that do, third, I have no reason why people shouldnt look at these or purchase them, again I was replying to someone that I already purchased one from another company.

Youll notice that I did not drop any company names and kept my responses short, as I did not want to take anything away from this thread. Which is why I recommended visiting my build thread for further information. I do think these are a good deal, but they are not what I purchased. That being said, I am happy with what I have as well

I won't derail this thread but it's obvious that you were using this thread to promote your cooler brand without provocation. It made me think that you had an axe to grind with Frosty

feel free to PM me with any further questions. but you have clearly missed my intention here. I have no interest in what other people buy, but this is a website full of different products and experiences, I was just sharing mine with the person ho tagged me. It is obvious that your a little sore about it. again feel free to PM me with any other comments or questions.
