I went to Discount Tire today to get my Moto Metals 951 put on along with my 265/70 17inch BFG ATs. The tires were rubbing and they said the -12 offset was too far negative. They said I needed to go from a 0 to +10 offset in order for the tires not to rub. They told me that the stock 17 inch sport wheels were +30 offset. I was just wanting to make sure that the wheels aren't to positive of an offset because I don't want the tires rubbing on the UCAs. I am getting my 3 inch Toytec Ultimate Taco Lift installed next week and was checking to see if the -12 offset would be fine with the lift.

I am not for sure to be honest with you JD. I know there are plenty of people on here running the 951s with wider tires than the 265/70 which makes it even more frustrating. Is the stock TRD Sport wheel 8inches wide? I know the Moto Metals are 9 inches wide.

stock sports are 7.5" wide and a 5.5" BS. most people are running 285's w/ 4.5" BS on a 8" or 9" wide rim

On 4wheelparts website it shows the backspacing of the Moto Metal 951s at 4.53. I still don't see why it didn't work!

    -12 = 4.5 backspace
