    Many shops aren’t using real “techs” for oil changes, and many call em “lubers”.
    Over a month ago I had to make two appointments for my work truck, one of which they could get me in right away,,,, for oil change, tire rotation, and wiper blades. The second appointment was 2 months out for an actual tech to diagnose transmission and phone connectivity issues.

    I agree completely. I cringe when I drive by one of those quick lube places. I'm even doing my wife's car now too lol. And I had never done an oil change in my life before.

    ole mechanics trick
    usually 3/4 inch by 2 to 3 feet copper tubing or electrical conduit works great
    I have some saved from old projects
