FS: 05-15 Dbl Cab Custom Subwoofer Enclosure w/ 2 Pioneer 10' ib Flats

I am selling my custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosure with 2 brand new Pioneer ib Flat 10" subs mounted inside. These are 4 Ohm subs wired for 2 Ohm Mono. The box took 3 weeks to mold and has never been installed in the vehicle. I bench tested the subs in my house and they hit hard. The box fits in the rear passenger side cubby. The only modification that is needed is removing the bottom plastic lip and drilling a 2 inch hole in the plastic for the speaker terminals. The box bolts to the truck by way of 3 10mm bolts that go from the inside of the box to the existing truck bolt locations. (extended bolts included) It is a great looking box and setup, but I will be selling my truck so there is no need to install it now. Asking $550.00

You mention it's never been installed in vehicle but it was bench tested in your house. Has it been test fit in vehicle? I know ir was molded but just wondering in case of any irregularities during molding process.

I have not test fitted this but it is formed very nicely and I don't forsee any problems with install. This was molded in a cast to fit our trucks exactly and many have been sold by the shop. The only thing that has to be done is cutting the small plastic lip and drilling a 2" hole in the side plastic for the terminals to poke through. No modification to the seat is needed. I tested them with a Pioneer Avic Z150 headunit and an Alpine PDX9 amp.

Here is a picture of the same type of sub box and speaker setup installed in another Tacoma. The subs are rated at 300W RMS and 1200W Peak each.

 

I am quite meticulous when it comes to form, fit, and function when deciding on stuff to install. The box is well made and rock solid. Here is a picture of my truck to illustrate the clean look I am talking about and that I am judgemental when purchasing and installing stuff in my vehicle.
