Thanks! I actually got this from a TW member (wont mention names) when I was a novice tacoma guy just looking for a 6 disc changer and maybe didnt do all my homework. The next day I tried to hook it up and found out the plug for the jbl is different, called him and he basically said so what, a transactions a transaction, and that how sales work. Obviously if the guy was a decent guy and had morals he would have been a little cooler about the whole sale but he was a dick! I think he pretty much knew that it would only work with a jbl system. I didnt ask for my money back just for him to cut me a break on the price and I would suck up the rest and try to sell it again. That's why in my listing I state it has to go with jbl harness. If I didnt like TW as much as I do I would name the guy, and tell everybody how much a douche he is and not to deal with him until I finally would get banned, but I hold my tongue and try to resell this think. I have had great dealings with other TW memebers and only wish there was a feedback listing like ebay with positives and negatives because That guy gets a BIG negative feedback.

So this will not work if I have the 6 disc changer that is not the JBL one?

 

Correct. You must have jbl system harness.

 

I wonder if you could get an adapter from Crutchfield?

 

I think I looked into that and I think you can get an adapter but I never found it or knew what the part # was to even figure it out and I think I called them but they needed a part #.
