    I have been toying around with making 1/4" and 1/2" add-on blocks to safely add height to the existing spacers. I am getting ready to make a short run of F150 spacers. After they are done I will run a prototype of the add-on spacers to see if they can be added safely. I do think this would still be safer than a tall round spacer with no real side impact safety. My biggest concern has always been what could happen in a side impact crash. That is why I make these with a large footprint under the bracket. I just fear that a tall 1.25" or 1.5" diameter round spacer under a 2" square bracket does not provide a safe surface if the seat was shifted in an accident. Will post results of the add-ons when I make a couple of them.

    These spacers have been installed and work the same in 2020 Tacoma manual seats. Not tested, and may not be needed, in the new 2020 power seats.
