I will be releasing 34 pair Wednesday 1/26/2022 after noon. Kit prices for eBay, PayPal direct and PayPal by emailed invoice will be the same $40 for 1 seat of $70 for 2 seats. Note that eBay does charge sales tax on sales. I will now offer a Friends & Family discount price of $38.50 and $68.50 respectably.
Unfortunately, and as expected, raw material prices have now increased by 25% since the new year. Lead times, that were once 2 business days, have increased to 60 days minimum. This is the 2nd 25% increase on 6061 aluminum since late October 2021. Material prices have nearly doubled in the past 12 months. I just purchased the more expensive material for the next 75 pair. I cannot say if, or how much, future kit prices will increase. I will try my best to keep prices as low as possible as I always have. At last count there were 13 Chinese sellers that have stolen my design and are selling on eBay. They were all using my exact copyright protected words from my eBay ads which former customers brought to my attention. I did put a stop to that. I am still fighting to have their ads removed for infringing on my trademarked and copyrighted Intellectual Property Rights. I cannot stop people from buying the Chinese version but I have noted in my eBay ads that 26% of everything bought from China goes to support the Chinese Communist Party.

 

@mrproduxn Did these get released? I only ordered driver's side last batch as a test. I definitely want to get the passenger side now. If they are available, can you DM me the process to order them outside of eBay? Thanks!

I dont have my truck yet so I do not know yet if I like the stock seating position. But when I get my truck, if I don't like it I will definitely be buying a set from you. I appreciate your transparency on price increases and as someone who has a side business building things with different exotic woods, I feel your pain on the fluctuating cost of materials. Ill pay more money for something US made before I buy Chinese knockoffs

 

I appreciate that. I say keep an open mind about your seats. Some people are completely comfortable in them. If so then don't throw your money away. I never pushed these as a mod. It does modify the seat angle but is only meant to help those that need it. I could add some tapped holes and sell some fabbed up molle panels but that is not what I am all about. I don't make enough on these to pay my own labor so a couple of extra sales won't change my lifestyle. You will know after your 1st long ride if you need something to adjust your seats. Until then just enjoy your new truck.

 

I will for sure. I'm 6' tall so I feel like it'll probably be fine, but I see so many people complain about it that it makes me wonder lol

The only way I can compete with the Chinese sellers that stole my design is to offer these at rock bottom prices. Each pair involves 1.63 total hours of labor including sawing, machining, polishing and packaging. I can make the same exact money, for the cost of materials and labor of 1 pair of spacers, in less than 1 hour working at McDonalds. Being retired I will not work at McDonalds. Just making a comparison.
