    I'm going to be ordering one of these within the next week here.

    After looking through the options, I'm a bit torn as to whether to go with a black or grey skid plate for my black truck.

    Any opinions or anyone have pictures of a grey skid on a black truck? I know black on black will look good but grey on black may also look good since the skid provides a bit of contrast. Need to decide soon!

    Got mine 2 days back. SWEET. Also got a tow shackle...that thing is super beefy. Gonna be a while before I get my skid mounted. I noted several pics of trucks (in this thread) with this skid on w/ the Avid Off-Road front lightbar mounted also. So I figured it fit. However it doesn't fit w/ mine. I have one of Brandon's earliest produced Avid light bars...and he must have made them narrower early on...and later widened it just so folks could have the TRD plate mounted. So I'm going to trim 0.5" off each side of the skid to fit it. Not a problem! Can't wait to get it on...it looks GREAT!

    I asked Brandon to make mine as wide as he could a few months back and the skid plate fits with like 1/32 of a inch on each side.

    Here is a picture of mine when i had a grey skid plate. IMO I like the black on black a lot better. Plus it's 25 dollars cheaper.

    Received my plate last week...got it installed yesterday after trim and paint. I had to slice a 1/2" off both ends to get it squeezed between my AVID lightbar. I was going to shoot it with Bedliner...but decided I wanted the contrast...so instead I shot it w/ a Rustoleum Nickel finish. Came out just like I had in my mind. I took a lot of time to tape off the "TRD"...then shot it with some black. LOOKS GREAT to me. Really happy.
